Ambience Snags Winners At The 2024 LIT Lighting Design Awards

We are thrilled to have Scanlan Theodore with Studio McQualter be awarded a Winner accolade for Lighting Design – Fashion Design Lighting. A warm and intimate environment where the use of gentle layers of light has created a sanctuary of sophistication. It’s a cavalier breakaway from the everyday when it comes to illumination for retail and fashion design.  The lighting design champions clothing in its natural habitat. Taking cues from showcasing fashion on the runway, where garments best do their thing. It was critical to best represent the materials in the garments, after all they are the stars of the show.

We were also lucky enough to receive a Winner in Lighting Product Design – Ceiling Lights for the Royven. The Royven is a distinctive luminaire that sits at the intersection of function, form and fashion. It is a cliché-busting surface-mounted adjustable ceiling light.  Traditionally ceiling lights are viewed as a necessary evil, the Royven changes the ways specifiers can look at downlights. We have taken the world of docile downlights and created an innovative design where the everyday ceiling light is not just hidden away, but dare we say celebrated.
