There are various Casambi-enabled devices depending on the light fitting type, qty, and power load. i.e. Phase-Cut, DALI, Non-Dim relay, etc.

Some of the devices are built into the light fitting’s constant current or constant voltage drivers and some devices sit standalone on the 24v or 240v side of the light fitting.  

The exact devices are usually scheduled when the client has given sign off on the final lighting plan and control methodology.

There are no additional control wires required for Casambi and no need to wire back to a wall control/interface like other control systems. All the devices are usually wired directly back to the switchboard.

It is all completely controlled through the user-friendly Casambi app and no need for a complicated control interface. The app works on iOS and android so is usually loaded onto the venue’s iPad.

ambience is usually responsible for commissioning, once the install has been completed. Our team will come in to set up the app and all the devices. We will also set the day and evening scenes for each space, along with the timer.

In some cases, the on-site contractor will set up a dummy network upon completion to test the devices and make sure everything is working.

The app is all about user ease. The client can make tweaks to timers, scenes, or light levels easily by logging into the app with the admin password.
