Luscious Lighting For Grill’d At The Fashion Capital, Chadstone

Local is the order of the day for local casual (meets classy) dining champions Grill’d, with the Australian-made Symphony Lighting and the Bundoora-born (doesn’t sound so cool, hey) Andro Lighting Range coming together for a killer collab for Grill’d at Chadstone, Melbourne Australia.

The space by interior designers Studio Y features a levelled-up approach to design that aligns with the fashion capital’s contemporary design aesthetic. ambience collaborated with Studio Y to help realise an illumination feel for the space that was more moody than usual, with levels dimmed and different scenes set using the Casambi lighting control system (did we mention that ambience commissions, programs and distributes Casambi Australia-wide?).

Weaving throughout the space is the lighting hallmark, an overhead illumination System that features integrated Decibel linear luminaire and the Good-Design award-winning Andro Surface Mounted Adjustable custom painted in the ‘more locally than a local thing that’s very local’ – Pale Eucalyptus Green

Other lighting across the space includes Andro Surface Mounted for general lighting in the ceiling, but you’ll need to look hard as it’s painted to match the surface. The world’s most popular downlight (could be a lie), the Kit Mini, is also in the point of sale and counter area.
