MUSIC-INSPIRED LINEAR LIGHTING INSTALLATION FOR SYMPHONY
Symphony Installation Melbourne
Music as a thematic element was conveyed by taking shapes commonly associated with music and abstracting them into sculptural forms
The Symphony Lighting installation showcases a series of music-inspired customised light sculptures using our Australian-made @symphonylighting linear lighting range.
Music as a thematic element was executed into sculptural forms, ranging from the obvious to the abstract.
The three-dimensional collection was a marriage between metal and intricate original custom joiners, and brackets that were produced using a 3D printer. The 3D-printed joins were created to enable the exploration of unique music-inspired forms, shaped through multiple angles. All light-emitting diffusers are precise, with no light leak or dark spots.
All lighting and the light box were designed and produced by @ambiencelighting at our very own HQ. Background beats were of course very 90s, featuring Ninja Tune and Mo’ Wax.
