Sydney welcomes the first A.P.C. flagship store to The Galeries

Featuring some local illumination from Symphony & Andro.
Est 1987, with over 70 stores globally, the French brand is known for its minimalist style, quality pieces and timeless cuts.
It’s our second collab with the team at Akin Atelier, after the Melbourne flagship at QV. The space features numbers from the Australian-made Symphony Lighting and Andro lighting ranges. These include the circular Panorama Ridge & Roll and recessed Andro.

The space, in collab with Akin Atelier & LAURENT DEROO ARCHITECTE is described as “A.P.C. Sydney plays on the contrasts between light wood frames and concrete panels, highlighted by a white floor that reinforces the impression of clarity. This graphic dialogue between organic and industrial, already present in the A.P.C. store in Melbourne, structures the space, treated as a neutral box.”
