Ambience Shortlisted At The 2024 IDEA Awards for Lighting

Launched by inside magazine in 2003, the program celebrates the best of Australian interior and product design across 13 categories and six Special Awards. The ambo fambo was lucky enough to get two shortlists in Object, Furniture & Lighting Professional category. They were for the Neoteric Pendant, a handcrafted pendant made using repurposed steel with an emphasis on exceptionally engineered illumination output that reduces light pollution, with Studio Y used for Fox Friday. The other, the Royven Ceiling luminaire – used in Venroy with Sarah l’Anson Design Office. The Royven is a cliché-busting surface-mounted adjustable ceiling light, taking on the world of docile downlights.
