Explore The Illumination For R.M. Williams St Georges Terrace

R.M. Williams St Georges Terrace is a tribute to R.M. Williams’ legacy of Australian craftsmanship, with a host of considered design details from ACRD. The space features an assortment of illumination ideas including the flexibility to balance light using Casambi lighting control and some in-depth thinking around at the crossroads of lighting design, interior design and visual merchandising. This includes the innovative adaptability of bespoke shelving with integral lighting that can be completely removed – yes, completely, as in taken apart with no wires all dangly bits. It can then be reassembled for different display and setup purposes.  

Chief Marketing Officer Chris Willingham explains

“This space presented us with a unique opportunity to reimagine the rich design history of R.M.Williams and tell our story in an expansive, immersive way. 

And with Casambi you can, of course, control the lighting levels to balance accents and perfect illumination ideas within the space.  

The opening of St Georges Terrace is the first in a new series of locations over the coming year, including Claremont (check it here), Rundle Place, Rockhampton, and George St, Sydney. Each space has been designed with a distinct, location-specific personality, with signature design cues from the WA flagship will be present throughout. We look forward to sharing more with you.
