Illuminating Attica – where the food takes centre stage
Attica Ripponlea, Melbourne
Attica Restaurant has the privilege of being named as one of the world’s best restaurants. And a waiting list of many months.
IF Architecture created a space that made the experience one that never disappoints. Attica is devoid of clichés with the lighting, helping to keep the focus firmly on the hero of the piece – the food.
Throughout the space we used a combination of Roll track spots, Kit Mini downlight in a black finish, and Mo pinhole downlights to give precise punch. Custom profile graces the front of kitchen with the Rage and Decibel LED profile also providing lluminative guidance and finesse.
A discerning highlight is the break out areas, where we see illumination gently resting upon furnishings to set the perfect mood. Overall the lighting helps enhance the sense of theatre with the food being the star performer.
