A moodier than moody space, take a step inside to explore the lighting at Bar Jayda.
Interior designers Studio Y. created a venue divided into two distinct sections separated by an archway, a front bar and a back lounge. Entry for the opulent cocktail bar is through the iconic art-deco Alkira House (next door to Delia’s Maha restaurant). With the architectural illumination, the vibe is moody with some extra toppings of mood. With 2200K filters throughout it’s perfect for bunkering in or using as a launching pad for an evening on the town.
We have Crio Pin spots offering pools of light under the bench tops and andro track spots for lighting only what needs to be lit at tables. The project also features custom lighting by ILANEL. Booming in the background over the speakers is a mix of Habibi funk, hip-hop, and ’90s beats – all curated by Northside Records. Here’s our choice of 90s beat:
